Hotel located by harbour. Absolutely friendly staff, and special thanks to Night Staff who understand situation and help.
Room was old need renovation and shirts of the bed damaged?
Breakfast was average according to what we paid.

I stayed for 5 days and I must premise that I had already been there 2 times in previous years only because it is in a strategic location. Since the first time, I have noticed a significant deterioration. They have an entirely glass-enclosed roof garden with a 360-degree view of the city that would truly be a strong point if only the windows weren't full of bird droppings, including the dining area, and if pigeons weren't roaming freely under the tables despite it being an enclosed environment.
The staff is very kind but cannot keep up with the customers serving themselves at the buffet, and as a result, the area always looks like it has been bombed. Dirty and messy (also the fault of some guests who show no consideration).
Everything seems a bit abandoned to itself. The room was equipped with dispensers detached from the walls with the glue still on the tiles, a non-functioning safe, a non-existent iron despite it always having been there, a non-functioning shower head—we used the handheld shower—and one doesn't know why they keep the hair dryer screwed inside the room's vanity. To use it, you have to keep the drawer open and sit on the bed because there is no room to stand. The rooms are cleaned the bare minimum; we even struggled to tell if they came in the morning, and the beds would be ridiculous to consider made (I am attaching photos).
In short, it is an insult to consider it a 4-star hotel and spend more than €100 per night. In Italy, it would be considered a 2-star hotel. Maybe!

The hotel's location is nice, but there's not much else to it. Kavala is a city notorious for parking problems in the summer months. This hotel is expensive compared to its counterparts, and its parking is practically non-existent; they allow parking on a case-by-case basis. They tell us there's no room and reserve rooms for other customers. There are private parking lots nearby for 15 euros a day. Instead of paying 250-300 euros for this hotel for 2 nights for 2 people, I'd suggest looking for a cheaper hotel. The service doesn't include standard parking. Employees are applying double standards.
