Clean and spacey room and bathroom with nice view to the river. The hotel has an air of old glory but needs refurnishment. Poor breakfast. Very easy parking oposite to the hotel entrance in a dedicated and safe area. Close to the city center within 5'-8' of walking distance. Pleasant personel.

Elena Hotel is an acceptable hotel and good for work and leisure travelers. The rooms are big and clean. The TV don't have many channels for non Greek people, and the bathroom was old fashion. Exists a good ar condition system and a fridge in the room. The hotel don't have many commodities, a small lobby and another room with a bar. The bar room is quiet but is good for stay in group or couple take a drink. Staff is great and very accessible. The breakfast is ok... You don't feel hungry after the breakfast but you don't fell happy too. The diversity is very limited, you don't have croassaints, or laminated fruits, or good cakes, or fresh bread. This was the worst thing I felt in the hotel. The localization is ok and you are 5min walking from old Town or center town. So if you are thinking stay in the hotel this is not what you are looking for. If you look for a place to sleep and go out on the morning to get back for sleep this can be an option.

Only here for 3 days/2 nights and that was enough. The hotel is very basic. The shower over the bath had no curtain so tiled floor in bathroom floods. It’s an old style wet room I guess! TV has no international news channels and no English speaking channels. Beds not very comfortable. Breakfast awful, quality and presentation poor, choice limited. They allow people to smoke in the small bar were a large TV loudly plays local news, great if you speak Greek. But the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The place is clean, just badly out of date and in need of modernisation. The price is also very cheap so you really do get what you pay for. If you are here a short while and need a base then this hotel will do. If you want anything more comfortable or nice, it won’t. Sorry Elena.
