Miramare

Sorry, but this is the worst hotel I've ever been in. They should pay you to stay there. Run down facility, no elevator, bare walls, warped door jams, depressing in almost every way. The did have plenty of hot water and watching next-door hospital employees arrive for work from my balcony was interesting.

The ugliest hotel in Athens... The rooms were lousy, the radiators were hanging, it rained for a quarter of an hour and the whole room was flooded because water was coming in from the windows! The windows didn't have security and didn't lock...the door to the room didn't either! The bed mattress was very hard so we left and had a problem with our backs!!! The staff was not polite! There was no reception, we had to call for someone to come and serve us! In addition, in the room that we paid €50 for, because it had its own bathroom and toilet, there was a carpet that was full of white hairs, as if there was a cat or a dog before us, and they simply hadn't even cleaned it!!!!! Is it possible to pay 50€ for a room and have water coming in from the rain???? not to lock the windows???? the brigs hanging???? then we went to a room with a shared toilet for the whole hotel, for 30€ which had a sink and the pipe was broken and the water was running on the floor!!! I really didn't expect to see such a mess! Not for €30...but not even for €10!!! We had to sit for three days and our faith came out! If you have no choice but to pay and stay in such a mess, you better sleep on a bench!!! 😂

Cozy room, excellent and super helpful staff at any time of day or night, we needed a hairdryer and they brought it to us immediately, we needed toilet paper in two minutes and they brought it to us, really excellent, I recommend it to everyone, cheap room but super equipped and available💪🏽
