Stayed 2 nights. Good reviews read, expectations were therefore high. Maybe this is also why it was disappointing. The one who received us spoke little English, no further explanation about surroundings. Owner himself very attentive and nice. Breakfast we found the least of all we have had during our tour. Sandwich, boiled egg, ham, cheese and some sweets. Setting is beautiful though. Room also fine. Was not served dinner as stated in other reviews. If you sat outside on the terrace, also no service for eg a coffee. Plenty of dining options in the area

Monodendri Hotel has a very authentic feel that matches the spirit of the village. The room was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, and the view of the mountains was a nice bonus. The breakfast was satisfying and gave us a good start to the day before exploring the Vikos area. The staff were friendly without being intrusive, which I appreciated.

What stood out most during my stay was the warm hospitality. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The room felt cozy and well-kept, and the hotel itself has a traditional charm that makes the experience feel more personal. It’s a lovely place to stay if you want to experience the authentic side of the area.
