Capsis

I'm not happy with my stay at Capsis Hotel. The room was OK, clean, air-conditioned. Breakfast was average quality, but wide choice. The pool on the roof was the best thing! Staff - unqualified, not helpful, not very kind. Reception was empty most of the time. They were not answering the phone either. Requested iron and towels for the room - both times they forgot about it and I had to call multiple times to remind them. Overall - the price definitely does not match the quality and the service you're getting.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share an honest account of our stay. The rooms were nothing like the photos. They were much smaller, very dark, and felt quite tired. There was only one tiny mirror, one of the electrical sockets was coming away from the wall, the blackout blinds didn't close properly, so we were woken by bright sunlight at around 5 am every morning, and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable. That said, if you're simply looking for somewhere to sleep and don't intend to spend much time in your room, it serves its purpose. The pool area is a real highlight—when you can actually enjoy it. Unfortunately, during our stay it was taken over by a large group of around 65 unsupervised and badly behaved children. Their behaviour became so disruptive that the lifeguard closed the pool for everyone's safety. From what we witnessed, he handled the situation professionally and was completely justified in asking them to leave. Sadly, he appeared to receive very little support from the hotel management. The situation escalated to the point where the police were called, yet there was no apology or explanation to the rest of the paying guests, despite the pool being closed for around an hour and a half. Even more frustrating, the group remained around the pool area, continuing to buy food and drinks while being disrespectful to the bar staff. We also saw supervising adults drinking from glass bottles in the pool and even being given complimentary drinks by staff. Throughout the incident, there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused to other guests. I genuinely felt sorry for the lifeguard. He was not only subjected to abuse from the children but seemed to be undermined by his own colleagues. We never saw him again after that day, and I sincerely hope he wasn't blamed for simply doing his job. The food and drinks around the pool were good, although noticeably more expensive than elsewhere in the city. We accepted that as part of paying for the convenience of using the hotel's facilities. Overall, the hotel's biggest strength is its location, which is excellent for exploring the city. If you're only staying for a short visit and need somewhere to sleep, it may be worth considering for that reason alone. However, I'd definitely recommend shopping around before booking, as there are likely to be better options offering better value for moneY

Very good hotel where we stayed as a group. The pool is pleasant, and we even got to enjoy a pool party. The staff is attentive and very pleasant.
