It is cleaned very thoroughly. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was delicious, always changed slightly, but the selection was not huge. The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately, when you shower, the entire bathroom gets wet. The free parking spaces are also used for the restaurant. Therefore, the parking spaces in the evening were unfortunately mostly all taken. For the safe in the hotel room, one must pay extra (2 euros per night). The closet in the hotel room was unfortunately very musty.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this is a family-run hotel where love and passion shine through every detail. Every member of staff was friendly, warm and genuinely welcoming. A special mention has to go to the lovely, engaging man on reception. I wish I could remember his name, but his story says everything; he used to holiday at this very hotel himself, loved it so much he moved to Crete and now works here. That alone is the best testament to the place. What I loved most was the chilled, peaceful atmosphere. The hotel sits in a quiet spot with stunning views of both the mountains and the sea. The sunsets were nothing short of spectacular; the kind that make you stop mid-conversation just to take them in. The hotel is extremely well managed: spotless throughout, calm, organised, and clearly cared for. Our room had a huge, comfortable bed, great air-con and everything we needed. And then there's the added bonus of Restaurant Theodosi, which is exceptional. Beautiful food, beautiful setting. For me and my two grown-up kids, this was the perfect place to slow down, reconnect and enjoy some much-needed family time. Peaceful, welcoming, heartfelt.exactly what we needed. The walk to Chania, we followed the google map to walk, which was hot and stressful down the main road. I would recommend starting this way, but take a left up the road Marinou Antipa, then past the sports hall, there is a footpath that leads to the beach, over the bridge follow this road to Chania Old Town.
