5 stars The highlight of our entire 2-week trip to Greece! Ammos Hotel in Chania, Crete was without a doubt the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted like old friends by the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. We were personally escorted to our room—no check-in process, no forms, just genuine hospitality. And the view from our balcony...absolutely stunning. This luxurious, art-filled boutique hotel manages to be both stylish and incredibly family-friendly. I think I took as many photos of the beautiful beachfront as I did of the endless, eclectic artwork tucked into every nook and cranny of the hotel. It's truly a visual delight. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully designed, thoughtfully appointed, and so comfortable. Everything about this place—from the atmosphere to the amenities—radiates care and quality. I’m already dreaming of coming back and making Ammos the only stop on my next overseas trip. It was so relaxing, so memorable, and honestly, I can’t say enough good things about the hotel and its amazing staff. A perfect stay!

The tone is set as soon as you arrive, you are not asked for a credit card or passport, and we favor your installation. Still very nice. Small hotel by the sea, its location is ideal. The decoration is neat and maintenance is regular. The staff is very welcoming and always attentive. They are cared for with a touch of complicity to make your holiday an unforgettable one. Each member of the team recognizes you and knows the room number of each guest at no time do they make you sign a rating and trust is master. The highlight of the Ammos, besides its location, its team, its charm and its design is undoubtedly its table. Simple dishes and fresh produce, we missed the days to devour the whole menu. A special mention for tarama and zucchini in tempura❤️❤️❤️. A small downside, but not dependent on the Ammos, The hotel is frequented mainly by families with children and unfortunately some parents on holiday forget to take care of it. Eclectic small hotel on the beach. Staff and food - 5 star! However, this is a family hotel and unfortunately some children were allowed to be out of control at meal times by their lax parents. There is also a small hotel dog who is not controlled in the restaurant at meal times. The dog does the rounds of the restaurant and sits and begs at the tables, especially if you’re eating meat. One night - the dog actually jumped up at me whilst I was eating! The hotel specifies no children in the gym or roof top bar , but this is overlooked by parents and staff.
