Most arrogant, inhospitable and unsympathetic cleaning lady/receptionist ever... And a dirty hotel that absolutely does not live up to the pictures they have posted online. It's a made up corpse. No staff on arrival or departure as promised, i.e. no photocopy of our passport at all, as they should be, I couldn't get a safety key until 2 days after arrival due to no staff. Only 4 cleanings even though the website promises 6. Mega angry receptionist who ignored us all week after we called Spie's travels due to faulty air conditioning and other people's excrement in the toilet brush in 1 day. She also started wanting to discuss with us that there was no stool but only discoloration from chemicals until she saw our pictures. Air conditioning in both rooms did not work at anything but 16 degrees, even though we tried all programs. Really unpleasant stay in a mega inhospitable and dirty hotel with so many defects. No air conditioning in the entire hotel, other than the 16 degrees in the room and when you have to check out at 11 and are only picked up at 8 pm, I have to say hello and say that it is relentlessly nauseatingly hot in the foyer, where you also have to blow dry your hair as there are no power sockets in the basement. You also cannot get the suitcase locked when you have to check out early and travel in the evening. Anna Maria cannot be recommended at all. Worst hotel I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few....

Very nice hotel with great location. Just few steps to the beach. Beach is very good, sand and no rocks, so you don’t need swimming shoes at all. Hotel is near everything, super market, bus stop, stores, restaurant… You can easily walk everywhere. Hotel is very clean and there is everything you need.

Very nice cozy hotel. We did not have a hotel booked in advance, we saw the Anna Maria hotel while traveling in Crete and loved it. We called the number at the reception and after five minutes we were already relaxing in a spacious, bright and stylish room. The price was more than reasonable. Excellent location 50 meters to the sea beach and 50 meters to the restaurants in the town. There is a very nice and clean pool in the hotel. Thanks to the kind owner of the hotel for organizing a comfortable check-in procedure and a convenient check-out. Special thanks to the very friendly and helpful lady at the reception, Claudia. The room was cleaned every day. Claudia made our stay comfortable and we will be happy to return next year.
