Hotel Blue Marine & Spa puts other 5 star hotels to shame, and has possibly ruined the island of Crete for me, as I now have a hard time seeing myself ever booking a different hotel on Crete....

Imagine dining without 500 other guests in the main restaurant—thanks to their brilliant time-schedule system, every meal feels like a luxurious 5-star restaurant experience. From breakfast to dinner, you're treated to culinary delight. The staff is incredibly attentive, and cater to your every whim. Plus, with two à la carte restaurants and an à la carte lunch option, your taste buds will never be bored during your stay!
The All-Inclusive program is unparalleled, offering a delightful array of cocktails and a variety of bars to explore. Whether you're lounging by the pool, enjoying the view from the third floor, or soaking up the sun on the beach, excellent service is always within reach.
Our room was incredible—a double deluxe sea view room with daily cleaning, air conditioning, and a fan for perfect climate control. The view over the bay and island was simply breathtaking.
Now, onto the pool scene: while guests tend to reserve sun beds early (sometimes way too early!), the hotel does have a pool/towel attendant who can help free up unused spots. However, I'd love to see them enforce the rules a bit more strictly. The private bay, with ample sun beds and stunning waters, is a fantastic alternative if the pool gets crowded.
Overall, Hotel Blue Marine Resort & Spa is a slice of paradise that I highly recommend. Like I said, I don't see myself booking any other hotel on Crete ever again..
