Very old hotel, extremely aging room! Shower equipped with an accordion curtain, softened walls, soft bedding (yellow pillows with stains) and drawers of furniture in very bad condition. Housed poolside I was not disturbed by the outside noise but the walls between the rooms are quite thin. The breakfast buffet is simple but correct. The swimming pool, although equipped with deckchairs and shaded areas, lacks maintenance and sometimes looks dirty. Few customers use it, which is still a positive for calm. Staff are available and responsive, which is also welcome. The hotel is located 150 m from the beach and next to all amenities (many restaurants, souvenir shops, mini markets etc.) and the bus line is also good. The island is beautiful!

A huge disappointment despite the kindness of the staff We just returned from a stay in Crete, and unfortunately, the experience in this hotel largely ruined our holiday. The staff is very friendly — but it seems to be mostly to compensate for (or hide) the many shortcomings of the property. As soon as we arrived, in the middle of the night, the disappointment was immediate. The rooms are tiny, with mattresses that are obviously decades old: totally sagging, uncomfortable, and responsible for our back pain. We also made an appointment with a physiotherapist... from Crete! In one room, the bed base was so damaged that springs came out of bed like nails — a real danger. Air conditioning? A joke. In one room, it almost didn't work. In the other, it was walking... but impossible to let it run in our absence, because the hotel provides only one key per room. Worse still: on arrival, we were made to sign a release requiring us to leave the key at the reception, while informing us that the hotel declines any responsibility in case of theft. The green argument doesn’t hold — it’s clearly a savings policy at the expense of customer comfort and safety. Television? Never turned on, but given the state of the old screen (control monitor type), we did not miss anything. Breakfast is very simple but acceptable. As for the pool: dirty throughout the stay, never seen during cleaning, without lifeguard. I forbade my children to set foot there. Neither do I. We had booked two rooms. They were separated from each other, forcing an impractical parent/child separation. One looked out onto a busy street, and the others were little better isolated. Doors have the thickness of a sheet: you hear everything. In short: Crete is a sublime island, fortunately. We rented a car (avoiding the inflated offers of FRAM) and discovered wonderful places. But the return to the hotel each evening was with the ball in his stomach. I strongly advise against this property. The kindness of the staff is not enough to compensate for such poor performances, widespread discomfort and a deep lack of respect for the customer.
