Kalypso

The hotel is really very small, the rooms are particularly small but very clean. There could be more storage space (drawers next to the bed e.g. or shelves by the sink; there is no elevator! To the beach it is a short walk; loungers/umbrella you have to pay there. The food is versatile and very good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was rather noisy (street noise, water flushing from other rooms, morning noise from the kitchen) But for 1 week it was ok!

It is a small hotel that is very quiet. The beach is about 400 meters. The pool is small but adequate. The food was very good, fresh bread and lots of healthy salads. Unfortunately, the selection of fruit was not very varied, so there was canned fruit for the yogurt. The room was very nice, had our balcony a bit off, therefore also very quiet. Rooms always very clean. Finally, the hotel is recommended, but for a 4 star hotel in Greece (we have been to Crete many times ) we lacked water in the room, for dinner some wine or soft drinks, a little entertainment. For a 3 star hotel it would be top.

We had chosen this small hotel because of the location and good reviews. The rooms are well equipped, but I was hoping for a room with a door to the bathroom. Unfortunately, that didn't work. Significantly more sales could be made in the bar and pool if the staff were present. The place itself is noisy, it smells bad and is dirty, compensated for that by the very nice beach.
