Latania Studios & Apartments

We stayed at Latania through recommendation from our friends who have been visiting for years and it did not disappoint. We stayed in an apartment which was very clean and spacious. The hotel is well looked after and the staff are all amazing. They worked hard to look after us all especially our two little ones who absolutely loved it. The pool is only small but was perfect for us to keep an eye on our little boy. Never a problem getting a sun lounger. The bar food and drinks were really good. Location is amazing, everything ok your doorstep. Overall we were really pleased with our stay. The staff made us feel at home and we felt really safe there. We will definitely be back. We stayed in a family studio for 4. The room was spacious, and there were plenty of drawers and wardrobe spce for us all. The kitchen area had all the utensils and crockery you would need. We didn't use any of the cooking facilities as we prefer to eat out. Air con cost 7E per night. We did get this, and it was good, but I wouldn't say you really needed it. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard. We had breakfast each day, always fresh and piping hot. You could pick what you fancied from the menu and came with cold orange juice and tea or coffee. The place is well run and all the staff we dealt with were brilliant. They are all so friendly and treat you like a friend. Special shout out to young Manos for his wonderful hospitality. It seems to be a place where people return year after year. Mainly older couples/sole travellers/older ladies who all mentioned how safe they felt there. Location is excellent, just off the main road but in the heart of the action. Fabulous restaurants are close by. Sea across the road. The beach is nice, but all sectioned off with loungers you have to pay for. We went to Babel bar..the loungers are free here if you buy some drinks. There are cats around the hotel reception (and full resort), and they are often found relaxing on your balcony. They do seem well-behaved, but this is something you may want to be mindful of . Pool was busy some days, you can grab a lounger and place where you like. We went early and always got a space. We noticed some people had towels down at 8 am but didn't actually go to the pool till the afternoon. Frustrating for others! There aren't any activities going on around the pool, so I would say the complex suits people looking for a more relaxed and laid-back holiday. Of course, this suits most people. We had a great, relaxing holiday and enjoyed just chilling out. We did enjoy staying at Latania and would recommend it to others.

The biggest problem with going to the Latania is that you have to leave eventually! Which is what we had to do one week ago. Big thanks not only to the wonderful customer facing staff - Babis, Manos, young Manos and Maria - but also to all other behind the scenes staff (cleaners, groundsmen and admin). Everyone is so helpful and friendly and can't do enough to make your stay a happy one. You are always sure of a warm welcome. The accommodation is good and the location is perfect.
