What can I say but this little gem of a hotel was amazing Clean in every way it should be at least a 3* not 2* As this family run hotel of which Helen husband George and there son Matthew runs . You go there as customers and come away as a family member nothing is a problem to them at all There visitors keep on coming back year after year as it is so welcoming And the lovely people we met there were lovely too Can't wait to go back

Our stay at Matheos Apartments was absolute perfection! This hidden gem in Piskopiano is a small, 14-apartment complex that is proudly family-owned and family-run, which gives it an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere.A major highlight is their amazing weekly BBQ, where all the guests come together to eat, drink, and party—it is the perfect way to mingle. Matthew is a fantastic host who is genuinely kind, hilarious, and constantly looks after his guests to ensure they have everything they need. Helen is equally wonderful; she is incredibly kind, caring, and always full of chat, making you feel like part of the family instantly.The incredible banter and endless laughs we shared here will truly be lifelong memories. Whether you are traveling as a couple, a family, or even as a single traveler, this is the perfect spot because you are always guaranteed to meet great people to chat to around the pool. We cannot recommend Matheos Apartments enough and are already counting down the days until we return!!

Just spent two weeks in these apartments and must say we certainly wasn't disappointed. having stayed at a 5 star hotel 4 weeks previous in the same village we were apprehensive, however this soon disappeared as we were made to feel welcome from the moment wee arrived. Yes its small 14 rooms but that gives it the character of a homely feeling were Mathew , Helen, George and Tilly can't do enough to accommodate your every wish. We were with friends in the apartments and another group who were staying at another hotel, when going to the weekly BBQ, Mathew soon invited them around and made them feel welcome even though there was over 40 people there and how George and Helen catered for that many with all the food, with was more than enough and keeping it hot. This was our fifth trip to the village and the first time at these apartments, and we are certainly looking to book a return visit back to Matheos.
