Sofia Hotel

Soundproofing 0/10 (we heard a lot of noise from the street, also planes at very low altitude so a lot of noise every 5 minutes, even at night, the room doors slamming) The guests are disrespectful, the neighbors made noise all night despite my remarks, while we were getting up at 4 AM to go to the airport. Sleepless night for a family of 4 who came just for 1 "night" Welcome and friendliness 2/10, no questions or exchange of formalities or welcome, we asked for a glass of water upon arrival, (after 2.5 hours of driving, in the middle of a heatwave) there is a fountain next to the reception but the lady tells us it is reserved only for breakfast, and that if we are thirsty we need to go buy a bottle of water at the bar!! She didn't even give our children something to drink. Room cleanliness 8/10 Room comfort 3/10 very hard mattress, very small room, no welcome gift (coffee, soaps, tea.. nothing) Very small and unsecured parking, first come first served. To avoid!!

Nice hotel near the airport. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful pool and well-equipped rooms. I was not bothered by the noise of the airplanes mentioned in other reviews. It also has free parking, ideal for staying overnight if you arrive late in Crete. Great prices.

Hotel is very well located near the airport. Convenient, pleasant, good breakfast with plenty of choices. Simple but practical room. We loved the principle that if the balcony door is open, the air conditioning cannot be turned on. The late arrival was very appreciated, and the man at the reception was very kind and caring. I highly recommend it for a night, whether departing for the airport or arriving late.
