The best family hotel with the kindest family that runs it!

I travel quite a bit, and it is rare to find a place where you feel so genuinely welcomed. Sun City was one of those special places. The first thing that stood out was the incredible hospitality. Gina, Maria, Iliana, and Harry go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Their friendliness never felt forced; it felt sincere. By the end of my stay, I felt less like a guest and more like a family friend. The room was spotless, comfortable, quiet, and equipped with excellent air conditioning. The balcony was an unexpected highlight for me, offering a peaceful space to read and relax after a day at the beach. The pool area is very clean and perfectly sized for the hotel, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available. Guests can also use pool floats, which adds a nice touch. The location is ideal. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can reach three beautiful beaches, supermarkets such as Lidl and SYN.KA, restaurants, cafés, and the bus stop for Chania. One thing I found fascinating was meeting guests who have been returning to Sun City for decades. Some told me they have been coming here for over 30 years. That level of loyalty speaks volumes. If I had known how much I was going to enjoy my stay, I would have booked more days. I highly recommend Sun City to couples, families, solo travelers, and anyone looking for authentic Cretan hospitality.

Wonderful familyrun hotel, that makes you feel very welcome and taken care of. They will assist you w/ just about anything and are very kind and quick to help. I got to keep my room until 21 instead of 11 on my last day with a late night flight, at no extra cost. I forgot to buy ketchup, they brought me lots of it, free of charge. There is a spot underneath the stairs with lots of beach equipment for guests to use, so no need to buy expensive new stuff. The bar is open at almost all times. The pool is big and there are sunbeds enough for everybody, no towelrun neccessary! Apartments are very clean, very spaceous, pretty soundproof and the AC works perfectly well. Room 102 had mountains views, which means you get to enjoy a beautiful sunset every evening at 20:30ish (in june). The location is great, with both Lidl and Zynka close by, as well as Agii Apostolis best restaurant right across the street (Oreganos). A lot of fun shopping-possibilities at i.e Max Kina store, 10 mins walk. Walking distance to 3 of the nicest beaches in the whole area, that even the locals use. The area is not too tourist-y or crowded, it's more calm than Agia Marina og Platanias, which I consider a major plus. Loved Agii Apostoli, the hotel, the people working there, and I will definately be going back! Thank you Gina and family.
