Villa Venezia

We had a double room with a sea view it cost us 118 Euros for 1 night. The instructions for hot water in the room are out of date and therefore incorrect. The electrics looked dangerous -- 4 items plugged in to 1 plug socket and an exposed electricity fuse panel. The stairs to access the property are extremely dangerous and if you have 'accessibility' problems this place is not for you. The shower is very dangerous -- the shower head was disgusting and hot water for the shower is sufficient for 1 shower only -- you then must wait at least 20 minutes for the water to heat sufficiently for an additional shower. We did not meet the owner -- I spoke on the telephone to him and the staff in the restaurant on the ground floor of the property tried to assist us when we had difficulties with the electrics after following the out of date instructions for the electrics in the property . The location is great and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was quite effective......however the place is outdated, drab, overpriced and the owner was aggressive when I complained to him.

Very nice location located on the Venetian port, so clearly a bit of confusion in the evening. Structure and rooms a little dated, small bathroom but clean and with everything you need. Small bathroom. Price ok and the owner helpful

We had a visit to this hotel to see if it was suitable for our next visit to town. Having been there, we would definitely consider it as it is beautifully located right on the seafront. The views are beautiful and the staff we met were very attentive and friendly. They have a nice outdoor bar area where they serve reasonably priced and very cold beers. Combined with the view and the fact you are right in amongst all the activity makes it a solid option.
