This hotel is truly an oasis at the entrance of Malia, in a perfect location with its own private beach among the pine trees, where you can wake up every day to the sound of birds singing and enjoy a breathtaking landscape. The facilities are modern and well maintained, and the staff is simply outstanding, always willing to help. I honestly do not know where to begin… from the wonderful Georgia at the reception, to the porters Giannis and Dimitris, who are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. At the main restaurant, the maître d’ Mr. Giorgos greets guests every morning in many different languages, always with a warm smile. Equally amazing is Maria, who serves coffee in the morning and wine in the evening at an incredible pace; I have never seen such a fast and efficient waitress. The menu, carefully created by Chef Giorgos, is different every day and always includes traditional Greek and Cretan touches. The buffet offers a huge variety of delicious dishes, with at least ten different salads every day, various appetizers, and dozens of dessert choices. I also cannot forget that both at breakfast and dinner there is an outdoor station where chefs prepare omelettes exactly as you like them. In the evening, there are also two different pasta options prepared fresh, and every Friday night there is a wonderful Meat barbecue. Finally, the wine prices are very reasonable for a four-star hotel. An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Crete!
