Sirines Studios & Apts

Studios and garden, especially the playground for children are in a very bad state. The roof from the bathroom was coming down in pieces and the studio itself was in a very bad state. The playground is rusty and most things are broken so it’s not safe for children at all. The garden needs urgently a gardener ..

The facility has lovely garden and playground for kids. Comfortable rooms with balconies and enough utilities for kitchen. Like heaven , the area is cool even under the Sun. Will stay again if we come to Thassos.

Sirines Studios and apartments are set in Skala Prinos, 2 minutes from Kavala-Skala Prinos ferry. It is well taken care of, it has koi fish pond, garden trimmed and watered every day, and children playground. Apartments are cleaned every day, with clean towels and clean sheets distributed and set every other day. Maid sometimes even washed our dirty dishes! Staff was very friendly and diligent. Apartments are fairly equipped, but with minimum dishes and kitchen utensils. It is in very quiet surroundings, nights are cold and it's never , subjectively, been hot. All apartments have AC and Wi-fi is available in reception area. Every studio and apartment has it's own terrace. However, Thassos is island of honey, so any kind of planned mosquito extermination is forbidden. Sirines apartments are set in the middle of field, near some kind of water (fresh water) so it has a lot of mosquitoes, from 8 pm to 6 am. We had one anti mosquitoes coil on every window and door and two RAID tablets plugged in, and we still couldn't sleep because constant mosquitoes buzzing and biting. So despite very cool nights we had to have AC turned on and all windows closed! Bathrooms in two bed attic studios are very very small, and have no showering curtain, so we didn't keep any cosmetics or towels in bathrooms, because everything gets wet. Stairs to our apartment were very uncomfortable and small. Position of Sirines is not well marked on booking.com
