Tassos Apartments

TUI Time to Smile Tassos is a wonderful, delightful, relaxing and peaceful property! Very nice spacious apartments, completely newly renovated this year (We had a 3 room maissonette, 1-5 people). The apartments are fully equipped. A fine and spacious kitchen, a great bathroom and lovely beds! A spacious and nice balcony with neat furniture, and in all accommodations a nice air conditioning, but so nice with the heat that can just rise on this beautiful island. The friendly and quiet looking complex is very neatly maintained and the people of Tassos try to make it pleasant for everyone. Your view from the pool is beautiful with the mountains in the background! A nice pool bar from Andreas, who helps you every time with a Greek smile and with interest in you! Furthermore, you are in 2 minutes by the sea for swimming or delicious food. With a short 10 minute walk you are in the village where there are several nice restaurants (Odysseus!). 2 large supermarkets (closed on Sundays) within walking distance, so easy. A nice street where you can find everything you need. Only flaw we find that the pool is also available for people from outside. In our 15 days we have unfortunately had to deal with a noisy family with children for a week. This is always possible, but everyone has complained about it, and nothing was done with it (unfortunately!!) by Tassos. Even after several reports from the TUI hostess on site, (who is very sincere and knowledgeable). Keep this in mind that this is possible. We regretted that the tranquility of the staying guests was not put above the visiting guests. It also happened that there were no sunbeds available for staying guests, too bad! We enjoyed this lovely accommodation! A Time to Smile accommodation is really that extra step where you get a piece of luxury security. Our holiday was very successful. The cool and authentic Greek villages on the whole island, and the very beautiful views and views are a feast for the eyes, especially in the north of Corfu. On to a new holiday, and that could just be Time to Smile Tassos on beautiful, green, authentic and relaxed Corfu!

We stayed in a an original 2 bed villa and it was just lovely. Quiet and peaceful away, with just a 3 minute walk to the beach. Very well organised,cleaners in every day and the very helpful receptionist Claire who answered all my queries and we were messaging before my arrival . Andreas was a fantastic bar manager,with delicious cocktails. Pool was immaculate, as were the well kept gardens. Myself and my daughter had a beautiful holiday together .

First time staying at Tassos although have used their pool (with consent) in previous years. Good points Location Pool Pool bar menu now has more choices Negatives Don't trust the English lady who sometimes manages reception. 3 times she tried to charge my folks 12 euros for the safe key when it was a free service. She also left several notes asking for them to pay the bed tax, even when it had been paid. She said it hadn't been paid to her and still needed paying! Spiros had taken the payment. Dated and tatty apartment, freezer compartment couldn't be used as broken handle. No mattress protectors on beds. Light fitting held together by tape I'd asked for 2 single beds upstairs but got a double. I had to clean before we unpacked as the bathroom cabinet was dirty and the floors, skirting were dusty with hair. Ants, lots and lots of ants in the kitchen area. I asked if they could provide a spray of trap but got no response so bought my own. The cleaning of the room by the cleaners seemed to consist of emptying the bins and leaving fresh towels. The bathroom sink and shower basin were not cleaned during our stay and neither was the kitchen. As it was peak season we weren't able to get a late checkout and they don't offer a dayroom or shower room, I think this could be a great addition.
