Golden Sunset

A family run small hotel in a beautiful location on the pier of Boukari Beach, very friendly staff. Guests come almost exclusively from Germany. The rooms are okay, lake view balconies, clean. Bath/WC, however, is tiny and on a level from 20 years ago. There is a small pool and a small pebble beach. The restaurant belonging to the hotel is located on the other side of the quite lively coastal road, open only in the evening, serving Greek home cooking. You can also order a daily menu of starter, main course and dessert for 20 euros in advance. The breakfast is unfortunately unimaginative and below average quality. The atmosphere is all in all pleasant, but compared to other hotels in Corfu the prices are too high.

Third time at the Golden Sunset, absolutely amazing hotel. Wonderful family, delicious meals, lovely room with spectacular views. Can't wait to go back next year. Thank you Andreas, Theo and all the family.

The family-run 3 star hotel has convinced us in every respect. The rooms are tip top clean and well equipped, each with sea view and balcony. The cuisine run by the mamma offers authentic Greek meals of a high standard. The two sons and the employees leave nothing to be desired. Tavern on the beach with enchanting sunsets. Nice big pool. Plenty of parking. For those seeking peace and quiet a paradise. No Ramba Zamba. A lot of regulars.
