I booked this hotel for my partner, we went for his birthday. We didn’t know what to expect as it was so cheap but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We arrived to a very friendly lady called Nicoleta (not sure I’ve spelt that right) she was lovely and very welcoming. The rooms are basic but has everything you need, also clean, pools lovely and very quiet when we went. The bar man niko and Irish bar lady were so easy to chat to and great to sit with and have a laugh. The breakfast was great, lots of choice. We were so happy with our stay here, everything was perfect and would definitely go again. Thank you to all the staff at hotel Jason.

When we arrived we were greeted with friendly smiling staff. The room we stayed in was just about right, two beds (not a double bed) shower, TV. The breakfast was fine and sets you up for the day. The pool is great size and the bar next to it is perfect, cocktail list, food list, ice cream nicos the bar man is naturally friendly and is funny. And we loved chatting with the Irish bar lady as well. While you are sitting there 360° views are breathtaking over the mountains to one side and the sea to the other. The steep walk up to the hotel was manageable! The view of the sea after a 5min walk is always breathtaking. We 100% will be coming back again! Ipsos town is always lively and there are plenty of places to eat its too easy to find a quick favourite. We recommend ipsos pasteria towards the front end of the street then an evening stroll on the stoney beach to dirty Nellie's!

Never normally write hotel reviews, however in this instance feel this hotel deserves a mention. The hotel is set in a stunning location in the hills overlooking ipsos bay, about a 5 minute walk up what can be a fairly steep hill, so if you have difficulty it might be worth looking at a different place to stay. The views are however completely worthwhile once you make it up, and so is the welcome receive. From the lovely Hayley behind the bar who makes a special effort to know everybody's name, and doesn't know the meaning of "last orders", to Jason the hotel owner who takes pride in his lovely little establishment, we couldn't have been made to feel more at home. Ipsos itself is quaint and has a good selection of bars and restaurants (our favourite being Zorba's) but not much of a beach unfortunately, however a trip out tone one of the others nearby doesn't break the bank. Thanks for a lovely week to all at Hotel Jason, we may well be back to see you all again soon.......
