The hotel is very picturesque, very clean and has great views. The rooms are varied but we had the upgraded which were very nice.
The pool area is lovely and breakfast is good.
Pool bar is a little disappointing as they only serve small bottles of beer which is about 4.50 euro!
Be prepared to build those calves up when walking up the long gradual hill.
If the bar did a happy hour for guests or had draught beer I would give it a 5

We stayed here for a week in June / July.
All of the staff were really polite.
Room was good, great aircon and fridge and safe included with the room is a bonus. Bathroom was fine but could do with an updated shower curtain. Poor storage space due to the shape of the room.
Breakfast at the hotel is great! Lots on offer. Food throughout the day is also really delicious.
Pool area is really great and clean and tidy. Very modern looking. No issues getting a lounger and the pool was a good temperature. However the nearest toilets are miles away in the basement which is a bit bizarre.
Location of the hotel can be a bit much as the hill is quite an exertion, however still quite easy to get to and from the town on foot. Nearest shop is at the bottom of the hill.
Hotel is unfortunately really badly let down by the bar service. We were constantly given dirty frozen glasses full of brown ice (albeit only in the day time). €4.50 for a bottle of local beer is insane. Service sometimes takes a long time as more often than not there is only one staff member serving drinks. Not as relaxing as you’d appreciate when on holiday.
Overall a good stay but would not be in a hurry to go back.

Recentl stayed here for seven nights! We were allocated a sea/garden view room and it was light and spacious. Comfortable bed and a recently refurbished bathroom with cubicle shower. As with previous reviews we agree that there is insufficient storage and this needs addressing!
Room is cleaned daily and we had clean towels on a daily basis.
The pool is adequate and fairly quiet. We had no problems with sunbeds but we were up earlyish!
Breakfast is a highlight and the options are incredible! Breakfast and lunchtime staff do a wonderful job and are helpful and welcoming. This is not always true of the staff on reception who we could to be abrasive and curt!
The one big complaint is as follows:
Check out time is 11am and if you have a late afternoon or evening flight home there are NO shower facilities at the hotel. I can confirm that you can pay 55 euros for a dark/dingy basement room. Otherwise customers have to use the toilets. As there are no toilet facilities within proximity of the pool then traffic can be busy in using the three available toilets.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay but the facilities need updating and bringing into the modern world!
Notice- I didn’t mention the hill🤣🤣
