Villa de Loulia

a guest house with medium comfort: the room was large enough but wobbly shower , small windows so no air , toilet broken down during the 3 days of the stay (..) , bedding ok , idem breakfast ok There are 2/3 taverns in the area, we tried one that's nice, the area is a little secluded but not far from a viewpoint famous for its sunset

This is a lovely traditional Greek rural retreat, with large clean rooms, a comfy bed, a nice pool, and tasty breakfasts. Our room had a ceiling fan rather than AC, which was more than enough to ensure a good nights sleep in early Sep. The breakfasts were simple but delicious,with the nicest honey and yoghurt of our holiday. Like most places in Greece, they have very friendly cats and a lovely dog who roam the grounds, so you'll need to allow time to say hello to all of them as you pass by. To top it off, the host is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and which ones of the excellent local tavernas to go to. If you want a modern Instagram ready hotel, it's not for you, but if you want a relaxing stay in a lovely small Greek hotel, it's perfect.

Very nice house, quiet and well located. Be careful the restaurant is not open , only breakfasts are served. The bar is closed too, no one The television was down. And for those suffering from heat , only a ceiling fan, it can easily make 27 in the bedroom.
