Sea Side Annex

If you are looking at booking to stay here I would seriously rethink especially if you are having a family holiday as it is not family friendly no area in the pool a small child could stand up in, there is no beach you have to walk into Kavas for a sandy beach which is about a twenty-minute walk. The area advertised as a private beach is just an embankment of seaweed with wood jetties out to the sea which once in the sea was lovely. I normally stay in 2 star accommodation in Greece and expect basic clean rooms this is not the case here!! We booked three rooms all with sea views however only room did. All three rooms were extremely dirty, the kitchenette unusable due to the filth and the lack pots, cutlery etc and the smell of dirt in the cupboards was disgusting. The bathrooms were no better, toilet seat hanging off, only one shower out of the three rooms worked but all were rusty and dirty. House keeping in none existing no one came to clean our rooms throughout our week stay. Even when I asked if my room could be cleaned as there were ants no one came. The bedding was never changed and we were never given clean towels. We had to ask and then we were only given one towel per room even though there were 3 guests in each. It was just awful rubbish was left piling up all around smelling we even saw a rat from our balcony run into the overgrow bushes outside one of the balcony’s never again....

Not one for leavening reviews but the place is fantastic!! nothings to much to ask for, the staff are amazing it’s run by such a special family. Me and my friends were sent here from Island Beach Resort because they apparently overbooked. Rooms here at Seaside were a mess. Shower was rusty. Cold water was working only for few minutes, after while only hot water was flowing. Dishes and glasses were dirty. There was only one fork and spoon although room was for two people. There was a big list with price of each equipment which would we pay for if damaged/missing (even plates, forks) but some of the mentioned equipment was not even in the room. It seemed like they want to earn money wherever possible - no free WiFi, pool only available for those who buy something at the bar. One day my shorts started to loose dye and I messed up two sheets. The stuff wanted 15 euros for each of them because they said it can't be washed. It took me a while but I washed both of them manually. They accepted it and I did not have to pay. There was no air conditioning, rooms were hot, full of bugs and mosquitoes. Some nights were noisy since many tourists were drinking in the corridors and being loud all the night. I'm glad I'm back home.
