Avithos Resort

We had the most wonderful stay at Avithos Resort and honestly didn't want to leave. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the incredibly friendly and caring staff, who couldn't do enough to make our stay special. Their genuine kindness and hospitality really stood out and made all the difference. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, immaculately maintained, and surrounded by lovely gardens. It was the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Kefalonia. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay including a fully stocked kitchen. Breakfast was amazing. It was truly bountiful, with an excellent selection of fresh, delicious food that catered to every taste. It was the perfect way to start each morning before heading out to explore the island. We also loved the location in the little village of Svoronata. It has such a relaxed, authentic feel, with local tavernas nearby and some gorgeous beaches just a short walk or drive away. Returning to the resort each afternoon to relax by the pool was a real treat. Make sure to visit the six little turtles that freely roam one of the little gardens. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Avithos Resort for making our holiday so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. If you're planning a trip to Kefalonia, we can't recommend Avithos Resort highly enough—it truly is a little slice of paradise.

Beautiful hotel apartment with large rooms (the bathroom could be a bit bigger) and nice staff, located in a quiet area. Within 10 to a maximum of 15 minutes on foot to various restaurants, the beach, and shops. Breakfast was included for us, and we were very positively surprised. We did it on the first day, and it was too expensive for what it was. Beautiful pool area with enough loungers where you can still find available ones after 10 AM. Unfortunately, it is quite expensive at the pool bar. If it were a bit cheaper, they would sell more. Towels are only changed every 3 days due to environmental reasons (earlier for an extra charge). This did not bother us, but it will certainly not suit everyone. Overall, I would gladly come back again.

Just returned from a fabulous week at the resort- we were new to Svoronata and took advice from others reviews when selecting Avithos - and so glad we did! The setting is beautiful, easy to walk to beaches and restaurants, handy supermarket not too far away, we had a hire car to venture further afield. The studios were very well appointed and the garden's immaculate- everything was kept clean and tidy and gave a peaceful atmosphere to the guests- no loud music from the bar! The pool was welcoming with plenty of sun beds and loungers to choose from of all shapes and styles ( we did see reservations/towels on them throughout the day even though there are notices in all the parasols stating prohibited!) but there are still more than enough to choose. The breakfast buffet was amazing ( we had a B&B option) so much choice and very well presented - the best we have seen in Kefalonia. Variety of guests from babies to adults and all mixed along with a smile in this lovely resort- thank you to all the team in Avithos Resort ☀️
