Hotel Tourist

We stayed at the Tourist Boutique Hotel for one night before heading to another part of Kefalonia. The rooms were very basic, which was fine for a short stay, but they could definitely use some updating. The air conditioning worked, but it struggled to keep the room comfortably cool. The biggest disappointment was the bed, which we found quite uncomfortable. New mattresses would make a big difference to the overall guest experience. Breakfast was probably the highlight of our stay. It offered a nice variety and was enjoyable, although we didn’t feel it quite lived up to the exceptional reviews we had read beforehand. Overall, the hotel was adequate for a brief stay, but based on our experience, we would likely choose a different hotel if we return to Kefalonia.

Stopped here for lunch from a cruise ship day. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff and great food. We had Greek salad, local bread topped with tomatoes and feta, tzatziki with pitta. Delicious! Prices are good and it's made us think about returning to stay here! Highly recommended 👌

Perhaps it was because the staff were having to work on Pentecost Sunday, or maybe they were already tired of serving tourists (even though the season has just really begun) but probably the least enthusiastic welcome and service during our 2 weeks in Kefalonia. The setting is lovely, right on the seafront, but maybe the customers are just taken for granted
