Pythos Studios

Simply awful. Turned up to a locked gate snd no lights. Out of the way and very intimidating at night. We arrived on a late UK flight to stay 1 night. No reception - called the hotel from the number on google maps and told it was closed down and not to call back. The initial response was “how did you get my number?” A truly shocking place from what we could see. Complaint lodged with Hotels.com to get our money back. The owners are refusing. You’ve see the movie - this is Hostel! AVOID!!!!!!!!

Not recommended. More than dilapidated bathroom. Toilet that leaked and smelled of urine. Rental more than old. 8 euros charged in addition to the price for air conditioning. I paid for a breakfast that the manager did not want to bring us

We had a room book here for one night . We had a late flight that arrived in Kefalonia around 12am so the time we got to Oythos was around 12.30. The place was all chained up and in darkness. I went to try and get in but heard a dog barking so thought best not to. We had to find a place and sleep in our hire car that night . I was absolutely livid and never slept a wink as it was 28C outside. There was nothing on the Pythos about it possible,being closed at that time of night. All of the photos on the the websites show that Pythos Studios is quite a big place with a lot of apartments so why was it in darkness when we arrived? We have paid £50 for a room that we never got to sleep in. I want to see if I can get compensation but don’t hold out much hope. The companies that are allowing Pythos to advertise on their platforms (including Trivago) are supporting a deceptive organisation.
