Sandy Beach Villas and Apartments

This was our second stay at Sandy beach and Mario, katharina, and Natasha, made myself and Jude very very welcome, the apartment we had was very clean and spacious, the maid was brilliant nothing was to much trouble, the bar and pool area was always spotless, from when we arrived to when we left the peace and quiet was brilliant, there are a number of restaurants within walking distance, also a few small supermarkets, because of Sandy beach location yes you do get aircraft flying over the resort,the weather was stunning, also if you want music/ bars/ and night clubs this location is not for you, it’s rural peaceful and very relaxing resort, we have already booked for next year 2027. We decided to book a 5 week holiday to kefalonia, having been in Kefalonia before we looked for something new and Sandy beach villas and apartments ticked all the boxes for us When we arrived in august we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes by Katarina. She gave us both a glass of her home made lemonade, which I have to say is amazing. Katarina explained that if we wished we could go for breakfast each morning, for what I saw it’s quite an varied breakfast plenty to choose from and you can ask for a cooked breakfast which is prepared there fresh as you order! We met Natasha, the owner and again received such a warm welcome, the only way to describe it is like returning to family! Once our room was ready Katarina took us down, we had the 2 bedroom apartment omg amazing 2 big bathrooms, 2 large spacious bedrooms, a big comfy sitting room/ kitchenette, everything we needed and more was supplied from tea towels, washing up liquid,cleaning sponge the apartment was clean well maintained lovely We went back to the bar area were I saw mario , the owner,so I introduced myself and my husband to him, what a lovely man and again we received a really warm welcome. The grounds are lovely and mario maintains them along with his fruit trees and vegetable patch. Cercie is the cleaner she really does an amazing job looking after all 10 apartments and villa, bedding towels and tea towel is replaced every 3rd day also if you want to have some washing done it’s just a few euros per load and either Katarina or cerise does it for you and delivers it back to you for drying. The bus stops straight outside the hotel Katarina told us to just wait outside when it comes just put your hand out pointing down they will stop brilliant. Beach just round the corner plenty of tavernas near by. If you fancy lunch at the bar they offer lunch at really reasonable price all freshly prepared and served. We came to Sandy beach villas and apartments as strangers and we left not friends but like family, we will be returning Thank you Natasha for caring and looking after us, thank you Mario, you remind me of my dad and I’m so honoured to have met you thank you for been there for us and your wine, thank you Katarina for being like a sister to me and cooking and baking all delicious food Love you all till we meet again take care

Nice location near the sea. Apartment simple but neat. We had breakfast every day and that was really paid attention to. Fresh gravy and fried eggs with bacon every day. The people were super friendly. Pool was lovely. Really enjoyed it!!!
