This hotel corresponds with its rating as a 3 star hotel except for the restaurant which I would rate higher.
Positive:
1. Price of the stay.
2. Food in the restaurant: I had half board for one week and even though it is a small hotel which usually means limited choice of food, each dinner was different here (4 out of 6 were very good, remaining 2 mediocre); even the breakfast was changed a little every day; they serve Greek specialties here.
3. Rooms were clean, large, with a lot of space to store your things and a very quiet air conditioning.
4. Breakfast is served from 7.00 (some smaller hotels start at 8.00 which is too late for me).
5. All of the staff are very nice and helpful people (tip for travellers from CZ or SK: one of the receptionists is a Slovak, thus you can speak your own language with her if you need).
6. You can use a hotel shower after your check-out (in case you have an evening flight, for example).
Negative
1. Hard old beds.
2. Very small shower enclosure – I could barely fit in there.
3. Some rooms are facing the main street and are noisy; on the other hand I never heard any noise from my neighbours.
4. I had two different rooms during my stay because there were ants in the first one (this problem was solved immediately after I reported it by giving me a different room). But while the first room was light and quiet (not facing the main road), the other one was dark and near the main road. On Friday night there was some loud music until midnight; for the rest of the nights only the noise from cars or motorcycles could be heard.
5. Swimming pool – I personally never visit swimming pool on a holiday near sea but those who do I must warn that the swimming pool is relatively small and sounded by old buildings (definitely not a nice view).
Recommendation
- Book a room that is not facing the main street.
Moraitika
1. There is a very nice beach with clear water and no waves but with fish that bite you from time to time (see my review of Moraitika beach for more details); the way to the beach from this hotel is through an almost uninhabited area of unmaintained greenery and old buildings (not a very nice walk but at least you don’t need to cross any frequented street).
2. Moraitika itself is a small village, not crowded (at least it wasn’t at the end of June), don’t expect any night life; prices in shops and restaurants are overall quite reasonable here compared to other Greek islands.

Very unpleasant experience!
First of all, the hotel stinks...
The toilets work once every two times (charming when staying as a couple...).
After taking a shower, even being very careful, the bathroom is flooded (what a pleasure...).
The beds are not made; new sheets are just placed on the bed each day. We therefore had to make our bed every day until we complained.
Moreover, the staff was unpleasant from the moment we arrived, while we were smiling and courteous.
Not to mention the stains of who knows what on the walls (I dare not imagine...).
No solution was provided to us for our problems.
In short, a deplorable hotel, the only downside of an exceptional stay in Corfu.
Really, book elsewhere; it is not worth the attempt.

Very friendly staff, nice rooms with a refrigerator, and delicious food, what more could one want? The price-performance ratio is right. The bus stop is located in front of the hotel, and the beautiful surroundings invite excursions.
