Beach Front Salvanos

We were greeted by the host's father who was lovely and welcoming to myself, my partner and our 3 kids (all under 11). Essentials were in the fridge for us on arrival along with fresh fruit. The villa itself is typically Greek, no bells and whistles but has everything you need, lovely views and is clean). The location is great, loads of tavernas and the beach is on your doorstep. Use of pool at the navigator, which would be fine for couples or late teens, but navigator is not a child friendly place at all (we were actually intercepted on arrival to the pool and made very aware that we were not welcome and told the kids had to be very quiet, then asked to leave when they were playing quietly, all before we even had chance to open the menu). However, there are many pools in easy walking distance where kids are very welcome (sunrose is great). This is an amazing place to stay with older kids or a couple's holiday, I'd definitely come back here with my partner or friends.

The whole apartment is very big and beautiful and the view from the balcony is directly to the sea. One of the first things that surprised me was the fact that the sunset that is in the water can be seen from the beach, and I know last year we searched a lot for this. The beach is very clean and nice even if it is with pebbles. The entrance in the water is with sand, wich is very nice, and the depth of the water is good for the families with kids. We spent a very nice time here and if we come back to Corfu definitely will stay here again.

Beach front salvanos offers budget accommodation in a fabulous spot on the sea front in Acharavi. The accommodation is spacious and provides all the requirements for a simple self catering holiday. Eating out is inexpensive but if you choose to cook the apartments provide enough equipment to prepare a meal. The apartments are situated in a quiet location only a stroll from numerous restaurants and Roda is 20 mins walk along the sea front if you fancy a change of scenery. My only negative comment would be the bed in our apartment was very hard and made for a difficult sleep most nights however listening to the waves crashing in through the night made up for this somewhat 😊. I love Acharavi and would definately return to these apartments.
