Takis Efi Apartments

Spent 4 nights at Takis & Efi. On arrival Mya was standing waiting for us to get off the bus, she showed us to our 2 bedroom apartment and explained that due to covid the pool/snack bar wasn't open. Owner of the apartments hadn't told her that we were bed and breakfast so each morning she made us a full english, she was a wee gem. Apartment was very spacious with a large kitchen with kettle, fridge, mini oven and 2 cooking rings, there was also plenty of plates, bowls, cups, glasses and kitchen utensils. Bathroom was a good size with the usual shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Bedrooms were also a good size, one room had a double bed and the other had 2 single beds. Lovely french doors at each bedroom opened out onto a terrace the full length of the apartment and had shutters to close at night. The shops, bars and restaurants were about a 10 minute stroll away from the apartments. All in all we had a brilliant time, massive thank you to Mya you should be very proud of yourself. The only dampner was the weather on the last 2 days. Torrential rain, lightening and thunder that ive never heard so loud in my life (poor Mya stood out in the rain stacking the sunbeds as we were the last guests to leave)

Me and my husband have just returned from a week's stay in the Takis & Efi. Firstly, we need to say a huge thank you to Mya. The lady really is a credit to the place and does every job in the place and is very warm and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The apartments themselves are very clean and tidy and cleaned very regularly by Mya. They are dated and could do with an update but it's only a place to sleep and get dressed so people moaning on here shouldn't expect a Savoy hotel at cheaper than Travelodge prices. The apartments are about a 10 minute walk from the main part of the strip and beaches and are close enough to walk but not too close for noise if you like a quiet area. The pool area was very clean and tidy and due to Covid the bar was closed but that's ok because there is a supermarket pretty much opposite with plenty to choose from. The pool itself was very clean but freezing. Whilst chilling by the pool you have the lovely view of the hill behind and watching the eagles flying above. These are apartments are lovely and very quiet and ideal for relaxing break. We have recently returned from Takis and Efi , we were a family of 8 and couldn't fault it. The lady who greeted us, Mia, was an absolute gem, nothing was too much trouble for her. We appreciated that due to the pandemic the apartments weren't as busy as usual therefore the bar wasn't open but this wasn't a problem. The apartments were cleaned regularly, fresh towels provided every other day and whilst there wasn't aircon we were able to hire fans which were a Godsend in the heatwave. I would very much like to return to these apartments as I can see the potential of a livelier atmosphere when it's busier. Many thanks to the owner Spyros and again to Mia for a lovely holiday.
