Bitzaro Palace

Just returned from a 9 night stay early July. 5 minute transfer from the airport which was great. Quick and friendly check in. Room was nice and clean with comfortable bed and nice pillows and a decent shower. Not a huge room but no problem to us as all we do in the room is shower and sleep. Pool area lovely and clean with a snack bar that serves drinks and snacks. Toasties, wraps, salads pasta dishes which were all good. Nikos behind the bar worked tirelessly all day. Top man !! No daytime entertainment around the pool as there is no animation team at the hotel so if you've got kids they might struggle. A little background music would be a good idea around the pool as it can be very quiet apart from the planes flying overhead which we loved. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and a 3-4 minute walk to the main strip where all the bars, shops and restaurants are. The food in the main restaurant was typical all inclusive but was fine. Not a huge choice but was decent. Not much entertainment on an evening. A low key singer about 3 times a week so if you're looking for something a bit more lively you'll need to go to the main strip. Overall a lovely smallish hotel if you're looking for a quiet relaxing break. If I could give it a 4.5 I would have but because of the lack of entertainment I can't give it a 5.

We have just returned from our fourth visit to this fantastic hotel, our happy place! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. A special mention to John on reception, Nikos in the pool bar, and Sergio on the evening bar is great too. As always all of the food was great and so much selection. We can’t wait for our next visit :)

Nice clean hotel with lovely food. There are two bars which do not open at the same time, pool bar is open 10.30am-6pm, it is also where you get your snacks that are made to order, (never seen that before) it is indoors and you are not allowed to enter the area wet. The other bar is in the foyer/reception area which opens at 6pm until midnight. Both bars at times were extremely busy manned most of the time with only one hard working staff member.. The Air Con is restricted at times, very uncomfortable in 30+degrees, I did mention this while there but it’s what’s done so that was that, for that reason I would not return unfortunately. To clarify we were not made aware of this by the travel agent nor the fact that the shower is behind a small wall with no door, not ideal if you’re room sharing, but we did manage once we got over the shock 🫢
