We were at the Garden of Eden for only one day and immediately found hospitality and kindness.
The property is located in the Kalamaki area, in a truly relaxing place to spend a stay on the island of Zakynthos.
Strategic location near the airport; a stone's throw away there are mini-markets and restaurants, but in the property itself, you can also have dining service, for example, BBQ nights.
Thanos and the staff are truly nice and kind people.
Too bad we only met them for one day.
Garden of Eden highly recommended!
Thanks for everything, guys!!

We stayed at the garden of Eden for 10 days 24/06/2026 as a family of 3 our 3 YO son loved it, we all did thanos and his family are so welcoming and laid back.
The houses you stay in are authentic Greek houses ours was a cute massonett it was big, the beds are the comfiest beds we have ever slept on including our own!, storage space is slightly lacking but we managed with what we had, we didn’t cook because we didn’t want too, but they do have a small counter top one shelf oven with 2 hot plates on top of it if you needed to cook, they offer breakfast if you want it as long as you ask the evening before
The BBQ night €35 each was AMAZING you got so much food for the price we even ended up taking a plate back with us to the house/room, we highly recommend you fit it into your trip.
There is lots or cats, none of which look like they have fleas but if your not keen on them just hang your towel on the back of your sun bed and don’t leave your house/room door open, my husband is allergic and had no issue with them at all they don’t bother you unless you fuss them, the little doggo that wonders round is gentle with kiddies and just chills out.
The bath room is odd to UK people but just treat it was a wet room, keep your towels hung up and your clothes outside it’s not that hard.
They have good free WiFi
No hair dryer
LOADS of plug sockets
The overall appearance is stunning all the trees and flowers and succulents it’s so well tended, my favourite thing was ordering a mojito and seeing them pick the fresh mint from the garden !
The pool is clean other than some tree debris which cannot be avoided and when they have the time they fish them out, they don’t have a HUGE staff presence and that’s what makes it feel like your living the Greek way, no one is In Your face, the cleaners are a team of 2 they are so nice and friendly and do a great job.
The main strip is 15 min walk the closest small shop is 5 mins tops from the hotel to the far end of the strip it took us 30 mins with a 3 year old walking at slow pace it’s really not that far even in 45c heat !
Overall amazing loved every second of it I honestly couldn’t find fault at all

If you are looking for somewhere that offers more than just a holiday, The Garden of Eden is a truly special find. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not simply as guests, but almost as part of an extended family. With only 13 apartments, it has an intimate, relaxed atmosphere that larger resorts simply cannot replicate.
What stood out was the kindness and generosity of the hosts. This is a family-run place where genuine care for guests comes naturally. Thanos, the manager, is exceptional and nothing is ever too much trouble. He somehow manages to make every guest feel personally looked after without ever being intrusive.
The gardens and pool area are absolutely beautiful; peaceful, immaculately cared for, and full of character. There were always plenty of loungers available, so whether you wanted to socialise or simply lie quietly with a book or some music, you could do so in complete comfort.
The poolside bar and restaurant became one of our favourite parts of the holiday. Panos cooked delicious local dishes, full of flavour and authenticity, proper home-cooked Greek food made with warmth and pride. Every meal was relaxed and welcoming.
Animal lovers will adore the many cats and kittens around the property, all obviously very well cared for and very much part of the charm of the place.
The location is ideal, just a flat 10 minute walk into Kalymaki town, where there are countless tavernas, supermarkets, little independent shops, salons and lively bars for anyone wanting more bustle and nightlife.
But above all, what makes this place unforgettable is the atmosphere. There is a real sense of community, warmth and companionship that develops naturally among guests and staff alike. It feels inclusive without ever feeling forced, friendly, relaxed and genuine, with complete freedom to join in socially or simply enjoy your own peaceful corner of paradise.
A truly wonderful place that stays with you long after you leave.
