Harmony Villas

The location we chose as a base for our holiday in Zakynthos turned out to be perfect. The house consists of a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and kitchen / living room, all air-conditioned, is located in a closed property with a small green lawn, adjacent to another equal building. In a small annex the laundry area. Convenient parking. The environment is very comfortable and everything in excellent condition, there are pots and pans, an oven, coffee maker, toaster and microwave, although we preferred to dine mostly out. There is also a small veranda with table and chairs where you can mainly have breakfast. The place is strategic you can easily get to either the east or west of the island, in 10 minutes you are in Zakynthos town and in three minutes drive to Laganas. Nearby there are pharmacy, supermarkets and many bars. Wifi super. Christos, the Owner, is a discreet person and always ready to meet every request. We had a great time and so Recommendation to everyone this location, also because the island of Zakynthos is very beautiful, has a beautiful sea and you eat well.

We have been to the Island many times and usually stay for 4 weeks. This time we stayed for five weeks at Harmony Villas...... hired a car and hoped the villa would be something like the photos on the website. Harmony Villas are close enough to the airport to be handy but distant enough to avoid flightpath noise, easy to get to and two excellent hypermarkets en route! We arrived to be met by the owner Christos, who welcomed us and gave us the tour, wow how lovely the property is, better even than the pictures by far! we were and still are blown away and have booked already for a six week stay next year. The villa is fully equipped, tv and sound systems really up to the minute and we got great connectivity from wifi (ookla results 7 download and 0.7 upload), skyping our kids in New Zealand was a breeze, in fact they said our vid and sound were better than in UK where we have fibre! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had great cooker and double sink, three lots of patio doors each with mosquito blinds and tilt/turn, super patio, loads of wardrobe space, fabulous mountain views at sunrise. Within 50 metres were a supermarket and bakery where the family who run it were extremely friendly and generous, a bus stop from Laganas and Zante town, car and bike hire shop and restaurants, yet the villas are set back on a quiet lane behind all this, very tranquil and countryfied. Next door is the Aphrodite Apartments, a small family business who let to Thomas Cook and privately also, we were welcomed there to use the swimming pool and after a couple of visits were offered a free beer and invited to a family christening, such lovely people! Christos was a fantastic host, nothing too much trouble, he is a very intelligent man educated in a UK university yet extremely modest and charming, helped with so much advice and interesting information. We know how much it means to have an owner conversant with our language and Christos is very eloquent and speaks English better than many people I know, plus he speaks Italian, French and some German! Oh and the housekeeping is fabulous thanks to Effie, a most thorough maid employed twice a week! All in all we would recommend Harmony Villas to any couple, family or group looking for an excellent place to stay on the Island, if we could award more than 5 stars we most definitely would! We enjoyed this place, it found everything like in the description! Great owner, great place, great amenities, clean, just perfect………..just be aware you need a car to explore the island that is beautiful!
