Kozanos II

Hotel located in a quiet village with restaurants and local shops. Beach very close. Central location to visit the island. Nice hotel with beautiful pool and deckchairs. Comfortable rooms with good bedding and spacious. Cleaning does everything every day. Very basic and little equipped kitchen, lack of dishes, no microwave and no coffee maker. Nice bathroom but very old shower that floods the whole bathroom with every use. Low pressure and impossible to adjust the temperature. Quiet hotel, no noise after 11pm-0h. In the end, good Price quality ratio!!!

We stayed in a suite with a private pool, it was idyllic, exactly what we needed for a holiday of complete relaxation. The rooms and surroundings were immaculate and spotless. However... I was absolutely appalled by a couple of things that I noticed regarding animals at the hotel. First off was a gold fish on the reception desk. It was in a bare container about 2 inches in depth, maybe 6 inches high and wide and it was struggling. I mentioned it to be met by a blank stare by the owner. It remained on the desk for a few days before it disappeared. I assume the poor thing died. Then we noticed a bird cage sat atop a drink fridge out by the bar in 32° heat and thought at first it must be empty, then I saw a tiny head pop up and I asked the young man behind the bar if there were birds in there. He said yes. I asked if they had water. He said no. I asked if he would get them some. He then took the cage down gave them water and put them in the reception area. An improvement but I never once saw food in their cage. Then on our last day as we were leaving we noticed a lovely big tortoise that had been placed in a dusty bare brick planter with nothing to graze on and about 6ft x 2ft of space, it was trapped there. I loved the place but will never understand humans devoid of humanity. As lovely as it was there I would never return. My 3 stars are for cleanliness of the rooms and the lovely pool.

On a traveling vacation to Zakynthos, I stayed one night at the kozanos suite, with private pool. Great choice, everything perfect, well maintained private pool, refreshed us on a hot June afternoon. Room well cared for, clean and nothing is missing, also present the hairdryer (as opposed to other facilities on the island). Definitely the best stay of this week, where every night we changed location so we could better enjoy Zakynthos. Highly recommended, would stay there again more than willingly, adequate price! It will be the special memory, on a special day, that we will carry in our hearts.
