Palazzo Di Zante

I have given 1 star to leave a comment here. This hotel has been closed for 2 years and has been in disrepair for at least 6 years, there would be new owners but it does not look like it can open this year. I visit Vasillikos annually for good food I recommend restaurant Mais, along the road from ano Vasillikos to Porta Roma.

I'm flabbergasted that this place is still open for business. We stayed here in 2012 it's was a dump then, the lazy river was empty, although the pictures looked lovely then, and the same photos are on the website today!!!!!!! The bar at the pool had no beers or lager and opened when staff were available!!!!! The room was damp and infested with huge cockroaches which were in the walls, you could hear them running up the walls at night and they were even under the cushions on the seating. The shower either burnt you or was freezing cold, had to get extra towels from housekeeping as there was no shower curtain so the water went all over the floor, how dangerous is that? There was no entertainment there then. The food wasn't edible, I have never been to "such a sorry hotel " the seating in the bar was sticky and felt damp ........ The management were not prepared to engage with anyone, they seemed to believe things were all good there, and by the sound of the reviews I have just read things have not changed....... Book at your peril ......

Furniture is very old and used up. Food is the same every day. Pool bars OK. Cleaning of rooms OK. Nothing for children, child center damaged and closed, available only 2 water slides for 4hrs of day. Is needed to take a car, bus or taxi, if you want to see something more at the island. 4 stars are absolutely not real, for me max. 2, maybe 2.5, not more.
