Plessas Palace Aparthotel

This is our 5th time staying here since 2023 and the welcome you receive can not be beaten. From Maria managing the hotel to Nikos, Miri and Christian running the bar, we were looked after every step of our holiday. The cook and the cleaners work tirelessly too to make sure we are fed, and we have everything we need in our rooms. Don’t listen to any of the bad reviews on here, see for yourself and book a holiday here. You will have the best time.

This was our second stay at the hotel. The first was a last minute booking and we had a great time. Our second was just as good despite the weather. We had a thunderstorm one night and there was flooding around the area. We literally sat in Nikos restaurant watching the road flood and some of the paths were under 6 inches of water. It was fun and everyone seemed to just accept it. Yes the rooms are basic, we have had 2 different ones, but that wouldn't stop us staying again. We were self catering so only ate evening meals and they were good value. Plenty of good restaurants nearby too. If you want 5 star go somewhere. If you want friendly owners and staff stay here.

We have been coming to this hotel for 11 years now and yes the rooms are basic and dated and there are sometimes issues with a lack of hot water and water pressure but we were always prepared to allow that because of the friendliness and attention of the owners and staff…..until now. We booked through VIO as I couldn’t get a reply directly from the hotel. I checked full booking terms and conditions including whether air conditioning was included in the price and it clearly was. When we got to the hotel they demanded €140 euros for two weeks air conditioning. I showed them the booking which clearly showed the inclusion of a/c but they said it was a mistake by the booking agent and I would have to take it up with them. When I indicated that I was very disappointed and was even after 11 years unlikely to book again there reply was simply’ that’s fine’ . After 10 days toing and froing with VIO they have finally got the air conditioning charge refunded by the hotel. This could have easily been avoided with a bit more help and a bit less greed on the part of the hotel.
