Anema By The Sea

Positive: Really cozy hotel, relaxed atmosphere, peace and quiet, does not seem "classic tourist", good pool, friendly staff, cozy city, and fantastic areas in the hills behind if one is for hiking. Negative: There is about 2.5 km to the nearest really good beach, and the pool area can be a little half dead in the evening, (which I personally was okay with), but if you are for "going in it" and socializing in the evening, it is probably not the best hotel for this kind.

In relation to the number of stars and price it was a super nice hotel. Nice and clean with little things that could be better but given the price, there can be no complaints about anything. Breakfast was not to shout hurra over. The city itself is quickly viewed so that we had rented a car for the whole week it was perfect for us. Soft beds. And quiet area.

This is a super little no frills hotel, rooms simply decorated, slightly tired, spacious but very clean. Lovely pool area, decent pool bar, easy access to the beach. Harbour and town are a short walk away. Mercini on Reception is an absolute star, and made us feel so welcome and helped us with local information, booking taxis and she was always interested in how we'd got on every day. We asked if we could keep the room for late checkout, and they accommodated us with no problem and no additional charge. In all, we had a fabulous short stay here, and would thoroughly recommend.
