Club Hotel Iliochari

I have no idea how this place has such good ratings. The place was awful! On arrival there was no one to meet us at the reception area and the whole hotel seemed extremely creepy. It is a huge hotel with lots of rooms but it seems to have been completely abandoned. The decorations and furniture are ancient and a large area of the "reception area" was covered with sheets and closed off, not in the way they do when renovating. We waited around for someone to come and meet us and after about 15 minutes of waiting a lady finally arrived to check us in. We went to the room which was another shock. Furniture and decor that could have been taken straight out of a thriller movie must have been at least 30 years old if not older. The bathroom had a tap that didn't work and a shower that you could hardly fit in. The whole place just seemed old and abandoned, dust everywhere and almost no staff around ever. The price was way too expensive and I would NEVER go back. The only plus was the one member of staff we did see during our stay seemed pretty friendly.

Club Hotel iliochari is a lovely and friendly place.From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome. All the stuff at the hotel is very helpful and very friendly. Maria - Tereza, Niko, Artemidas and the other members of the stuff were eager to help with great pleasure. The food is very good for a 3 star hotel.There is a lovely beach near the hotel. There is a plenty of pines and eucalyptuses along the beach,The sea is very clean.There is a supermarket just in some minutes from the hotel. The village where the hotel is situated is calm, therr are no night clubs etc, so it is an ideal quite place for holidays with children.

This is a place where you can experience the greatest moments in Greece - traditional Greek cousine and hospitality, very helpfull and polite staff that knows many languages (english, german, french, russian and polish for sure!). Beautifull environment and many atractions in the neightbourhood.
