Deves hotel

The location is convenient, 10-15 minutes from the Center of Nafplio on foot. Not the best option, not recommended for more than three days due to limited benefits. They charge extra 5 euro per person for breakfast which could be included in the price. Breakfast had few choices since you pay extra for it. Personally, I struggled too much with the hair dryer which was indulgently inadequate. The other amenities are TV and wifi. Otherwise, small but clean room, comfortable bed, good duvet. Towels clean, placed in cellophane. We didn't use air conditioning at all, for the time we went it was a good temperature.

This is a very clean hotel, that can not compete with all the historical, picturesque or luxurious options around. However, I seriously recommend this choice for the following reasons: 1. you avoid the staircases of the old town, while still being at walking distance from the center 2. you can park around easily 3. you can have all the necessary facilities at very descent pricing. Nafplio is a very beautiful city, where you can use extra money for a number of important reasons, other than accommodation itself. It is also worth renting a car -if you have not your own- and visit a number of places (beaches, villages, antiquities, the Ancient Theater of Epidavros, etc.) that you will otherwise miss. Deves Hotel is the best way I know to achieve this efficiently.

There are many hosteling options in Nafplio. Tourist guides always recommend pitoresque ones, with sea view balconies etc. I recommend hotel Deves which is situated in the modern part of the town. It is modern and the cleanest hotel! I know no other hotel- rooms to be cleaned with steam every time the guests go away! And the towels are sealed and only your hands touches them! One of the few Greek hotels for green practices! If you want a value for money hotel try Deves!
