Mpalkoni Sti Monemvasia

I saw this place on internet for 35 euro for one night, i call him,and book the room. the person i was speak on the phone din t ask me my name or anything,just ask me for what time i have to be there, so,we say from 4 to 6pm ( and it was ok!). After that, i call again for be sure,becouse was really strange he didn t ask me nothing more, and HE TELL ME TO DON T BOOK ON INTERNET,becouse i was alredy book. The surpraise when we arrive, was that this really bad person, (was also aggressive with us) he had already rented the room reserved for us to others. Really bad experience!! I do not recommend if you wanna be sure to have a room! Ah, and when we arrive we have to call him for one hour on the phone without answer, And after long time ringing the intercom, he come with him bad behavior! That's all! No good place!! NO RECOMMENDED!

My wife and I stayed one for a very memorable time visiting Monemvasia. Took a flight of stairs to an atmospherically-decorated floor and rang the service bell. The owner greeted us and quickly checked us in. Rooms were small, but adequate for a short stay, and included a small kitchenette. I liked the overall feel of the hotel. There is space for private parking in a lot next door, but we parked across the street at the supermarket, which was better lit, but which may be frowned upon, in my opinion, during high season as the parking may be needed for customers.

This hotel is not extraordinary, without view in the old town. It's near to new city of Monemvasia and you can walk on foot to the old town (20-30 minutes). Also, it's close to a big super market. It's quite clean, with a small box with marmelade, honey and rusks. Also, you can find sugar and coffee, for your breakfast. That's all.
