Rex Hotel Nafplio

I wish I had read the previous review! I am at the hotel , booked in for two nights. The hotel has not switched their air conditioning system on. The receptionist just suggested that normal people at this time of the year do not require air conditioning! Last night was extremely uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep. I asked for a fan at least - we slept with the balcony doors open (got bitten ) but no air. They just rang to say they do not have a fan in the entire hotel. Avoid if you want a good nights sleep

The room month April (with normal temperature for the season), it was so hot that we could not breathe. When we told the manager his answer and with a dose of irony, it was based on the hotel's policy not to open the central air conditioning system and open the window. Of course we opened the window but we stayed sleepy all night and out on the veranda. The double room had a double bed that only double you don't say. The staff was rude and ironic as if they did us a favor that we paid to stay there. We have never seen such behavior in a hotel anywhere before, even at cheaper accommodations. UNACCEPTABLE!

If he had 0 stars, I'd put them. The worst experience a person could have had in this hotel. Rooms without air conditioning in 2026, we stayed in April and boiled the room, with open windows all night we stayed sleepy. Beds are supposed to be double and 1,5 person with the zori.No one served us when we communicated with them, not even for a fan. The staff is ironic and untrained from start to finish for rooms that are not cheap. We left sooner, never again!
