Homer's Inn

We stayed at Homer's Inn, the second week of July. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Furthermore, outside the hotel there is a beautiful pool also with a bar to provide drinks or snacks. The first night we slept very well, but already from the second night we started to have difficulty. Next to our room 4 Greek guys had arrived, basically at night they went to bed at 4/5 and then they woke up directly at 4 PM in the afternoon. For the first two nights, we tolerated the noise coming from their room, even and especially after midnight: shouting, laughter, music. On the third night, we reported it to the staff, who told us they would go and tell them immediately. We returned to the room in the evening, it must have been 11:00 PM, and we already started hearing shouting and laughter coming from the room next door. So we continued our evening. At a certain point, we decided to go knock on their door and calmly tell them everything. That is what happened, and the guys apologized. From then on, they were no longer heard. Therefore, the staff is very kind but needs to make themselves respected a bit more. Otherwise, a top-notch experience!

This is a gem of a hotel. The family who own it are extremely friendly and welcoming. The excellent breakfast is served on the lovely terrace with sea views and eggs "however you want them" will be cooked to order. There is a very good choice of fresh food to chose from including hot croissants, fresh fruit, pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurt and good tea and coffee. Our room was modern and huge with a very comfortable bed and excellent rain shower with nice toiletries and fluffy towels, which were changed each day. WiFi was fast and easy to connect to and the air con worked a treat. The bus stop is right outside of the hotel although it is easy to walk to the village or the port. There is a very nice pool area which was very quiet most of the time and a pool bar where snacks and drinks are available all day. It is rare to stay somewhere that you have absolutely no issues with at all. Homers Inn is 10/10 for us. Excellent.

We loved staying here. The quality of the hotel. The pool is massive for the rooms. Breakfast is very good. The owners are so friendly and welcoming they collect you from the port and return you no extra charge We had a later ferry booking and it was no trouble to stay in our room till 5. Of course if they are full this can’t happen. We would really recommend this hotel and we are loved staying here
