Stayed here in September 2025. A lovely hotel. Maria and Michael made me very welcome. No complaints, room lovely. Great location. Looking forward to staying here again next year.👍👍👍😊

we stayed with friends and the stay was great! The room was spotless, spacious and self-catering. Mr. Michele and Mr. Maria are wonderful people and very helpful, in solving our every little need. The location of the hotel is perfect, central 500 meters from the center.

My stay at the Golden Star Hotel in Ios started with a glimmer of promise, but alas, it soon took a turn for the worse. Initially, the hotel charmed us with its lovely ambiance and friendly staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our group of friends. However, the tides quickly shifted as our stay progressed. One of the major issues we encountered was the lack of privacy. The staff seemed to have a penchant for intruding at the most inconvenient times, disrupting our relaxation and making us feel like we were constantly being watched. It became increasingly difficult to unwind and enjoy our holiday when we couldn't even have a moment to ourselves. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. the bedsheets were never changed, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unsanitary. It's quite disappointing when a hotel fails to maintain basic hygiene standards, as it significantly impacts the overall experience. While the Golden Star Hotel may have its initial appeal, the intrusive staff and unhygienic conditions ultimately tarnished our stay, leaving us with a sour taste in our mouths
