Kontessa Apartments

The location of the Kontessa Apartments really can't be beat. The most amazing views (especially of the beautiful sunrise) and Just a minute walk from the sea, bars, restaurants, beaches etc. The apartments are bright, clean, have really comfortable beds/pillows and good sized private balconies/terraces. Bed linen and towels are good quality, air con, safe, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also included.  The kitchenette is the usual simple style, kettle toaster etc and enough to prepare drinks and snacks. We always had lots of hot water in the shower (it can flood a little but if you keep the curtain in the right place it's fine) The pool is a really good size and always quiet, it looks lovely all lit up at night. The snack bar wasn't open so we didn't see any staff during our stay but that suited us as we like peace and quiet (check in is via a note on the gate - super easy). There is  a cat feeding area behind the gate at the steps so please do feed them, some are just kittens. Cleaning was nearly every day, we had three lots of clean towels in 8 days and bed linen was changed halfway through the week. There is free wifi which did drop a few times but most of the time was good quality and speed. The only negatives I can say is the grates around the pool edge need to be cleaned and the freezer part of the fridge didn't actually freeze anything but that's it. All in all we were really very happy with our choice of accommodations and will definitely return.

The apartments are easy to find, has very friendly staff, very clean rooms and pool, and in a very good location just a minute away from the sea and from the shops and supermarkets. Enjoyed it a lot and would highly recommend! Will come back for sure!

Housing solution as is very fashionable in Kefalos: apartment with bedroom, private bathroom and small dining room. Shared swimming pool, at good prices. The 3 of us spent a week here (with wife and 2 year old daughter). - Clean apartment (daily cleaning, towel change once a week). It has everything you need, but without excess. If there are three of you, you will find three cups, three glasses, enough cutlery, a pot, a pan, a kettle, an electric hob, a hairdryer, generic soap and little else. In short, he does his thing without going overboard, we used the kitchen to prepare lunch to take to the beach, always dinner out. - Air conditioning, but please note that for it to work it is essential to close the balcony door and lock it, otherwise it (rightly) won't turn on. I had to ask to figure it out, I was going crazy over it. - Nice little balcony overlooking the pool. We were on the first floor. - The balconies are quite close to each other, between the ground floor and first floor, and from this point of view there is a lack of privacy. For example, it is best to close the curtain overlooking the pool if you don't want to be seen by all the residents lying by the pool. - For the little girl, we asked for and found a high chair and a camping cot as soon as we arrived, with her sheet and pillow. Uncomfortable cot because without a real dedicated mattress but, again, it does its job. - Swimming pool for free use by all guests, beautiful, large, clean, with a shallow area dedicated to children. Among other things, I understand that it is always available, including in the evening when it is lit up and often foreign guests swam in the silence of the night. - Check in absurd, you arrive, you read your booking name associated with the room on a board at the entrance, you reach the room which is open and you find the key inside. Ditto for check out. - Only flaw: entrance door defective and not always easy to lock. However, there is also a small safe inside. - Bathroom with toilet (toilet paper in the bin, not in the drain), shower with curtain but hot water and very good flow. In short, if you don't expect a 4-star hotel, you'll be fine, the place is convenient for getting around Kefalos and the most beautiful beaches in the surrounding area. Free car parking on site. Very kind owner, nice with children.
