Pelopas Resort

Perfectly okay hotel, can not understand how it can be 4 star though. Do not think the standard lives up to it. The breakfast was so boring and dry, the toast was rock hard and had probably been out for a long time. The room was okay except for lots of dead mosquitoes on the ceiling, dirty towels and peeled paint. Lots of stains everywhere, even on bedding, sofa etc. One day the electricity in our room didn’t work, an elderly lady at the front desk said it was because we had had the card for too long. That can't be right. If I get sick on my vacation, I need to be able to use the electricity in my room around the clock. Another thing we had problems with was the cleaning. There should be signs you can hang if you do not want cleaning right now. The maid came early in the morning usually just after breakfast, when you need to change. And she knocked very briefly before she just walked in, not appreciated. One day the maid didn’t arrive until 5pm instead, so we had to sit outside in our swimwear until she was done. The pool was good but note that the round pool bar in the pictures at Apollo is no longer there. Aika at the front desk was cute and the restaurant at the hotel did great food. In conclusion, I wouldn't come back here. It costs like a four star hotel but feels like 2/3 star. Not worth it.

We have soon spent 14 days here in the very nice and clean hotel. We have only good things and say about the whole hotel and NO loud music at the pool as people have written ..everything is so nice and nice beach close to and in the middle of a small cozy town, we will be safe again

We spent a great week at Pelopas Resort. The place is very nice, clean and functioning. Service was efficient and friendly. We especially liked the fact that it was quiet and that there was not too much reserving of sunbeds with towels. At Pelopas there was always beds available. Nice little poolbar where you could order drinks and food. Breakfast was quite basic but good enough. Some people might not be so happy with the fact that cleaning of the rooms usually starts at about 08.30 in the morning. For us it wasn't a problem as we get up early but people who like to sleep in might be of another opinion. The location is excellent, very close to a lot of good restaurants and only a short walk from the beach. There's a supermarket right next door. All in all a very nice stay, we can warmly recommend this hotel.
