Yiorgos

We stayed here for 4 nights from 21st August, and found it an ideal base for us. Like others have said, the rooms are small and dated, but we found that the 80’s decor gave the hotel its charm, and although there were a couple of issues with our room, we didn’t let it bother us, as we were only there for a few days. Rooms were kept clean on a daily basis. Air con worked perfectly, and cooled the room nicely whilst we were out during the day. Breakfast, although limited, suited us, and we were happy with the selection of Greek yoghurts, fruits, cheeses, Hams, breads, jams, drinks etc, so for us there’s no issue there. Literally 2 minutes walk to a small beach, and a 10-15 minute walk up to the harbour, and Bar Street, with a decent selection of restaurants and cocktail bars on the way. The owner, Dimitri is a really nice guy aswell and made us both feel welcome whenever we bumped into him. Check in and out was a simple process. For the money it costs, and the star rating, I could happily recommend if you needed somewhere to use as a base. The only real issue we found is that the sound travels throughout the hotel because the walls are very thin. Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes!

Absolutely good experience. Hotel is located near the old town (ca. 10 minutes walk), just on the corner of the promenade. Reasonably priced, breakfast was also included (which was basic but adequate: hams, cheese, boiled egg, coffee, tea, yoghurt). The room was clean, and was air conditioned. The owner is also very nice. Only negatives I could mention are the very basic, retro furniture (and no double bed, just 2 single beds pushed together), and the noise (there are 2 vehicle rentals nearby, one on the other side of the street and one right in the hotel next door). I can safely reccommend it to anyone.

I've been to Yiorgos Hotel with my friends, it was a great experience. The rooms were fine and clean, and the owner was so nice and helpful. He also suggested us some places to visit and always helped us. The hotel is located in a strategic position, close to the center and next to the car/bike/scooter rental. The breakfast was good and there were different choises. The structure is not new but the price quality is excellent. We are satisfied of our choice!
