Fournakia Complex

No sign outside, given wrong phone nos for contact, no member of staff on premises, had to discover contact phone nos from other guests, member of staff got there 20 minutes later to discover our room was occupied - 30 minutes of attempts to eject existing tenants failed, so given substandard cramped room - and all our attempts at reducing the rate failed

This property is well located in the centre but set back a bit from the very busy streets in a nice quiet location. I think we had the best room located at the front of the building which was room one. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. This was a great value for money choice. Would have been handy to have had an iron and ironing board. The directions on arrival were slightly confusing however when we got through to the right person he was very pleasant.

Visited in June with friends for 3 days. Wanted a simple room in the centre of Mykonos in the absence of car. The rooms are located indeed down town, only 2mins from the popular white alleys, the shops and bars, 5mins from the Windmills and the Little Venice. The room was spaceous, nicely decorated and extra clean! Surprisingly (despite this was a room to let and not a grand hotel`s room) a cleaning lady was coming daily to leave clean towels and to mop up the floor and bathroom. If I ever were back to Mykonos, I would definitely stay again at Fournakia given (though) that a room in front of the building could be provided. They put us in a room in the back despite the front ones were empty, where an extremely loud noise was coming in from the near building. Presume it was a restaurant fridge or a NASA mechanism ready to explode. The noise was so loud day and night that we could not fall asleep even with closed windows. We did not ask to change room so we cannot put the entire blame on the hotel`s operator. I recommend Fournakia for friends and couples but please make sure you have booked a room in the front for instance no1 which had also great view of the alleys. Thank you
