Ibiscus Village

we arrived two hours before the check-ing they said that we can take a shower if we want so we took it and suddenly they said we must to pay 5€ for that.the kitchen utensils are horrible no wifi in the rooms only at the reception,no clim, the staff are not friendly except the youngest guy. during the cheking we were knocked on the door to say that we must leave at 11:30 while in the email and booking say 12h.

I firstly must say, I hate leaving a bad review but apart from the room being clean, the staff being lovely and airport/port transfers I would say this place has nothing else I can be too positive about. None of the room had air-conditioning and really needed it! All night it was so so hot and we were in Mykonos in June not even the hottest part of summer yet! The staff will tell you no one complains which we didn't either as they were nice and it was my fault not realising that the rooms didn't have air-conditioning as we booked last minute and everywhere else was even more expensive! The ceiling fan hardly did anything and we had to resort to risking mosquitos and other bugs entering our room over night just to have the balcony doors open to let some air in! It mightve been nicer if it was more windy but both nights we were very restless from being way too hot! Also there is nothing close to the accommodation, the roads to walk anywhere are very questionable and you need to walk at least 15minutes to get to anything for food and/or drink. Also another location issue was that the airplanes sound like they're going to land on your room just to give you an idea about how loud they are! Also there are flights all night, we got used to them but I did find myself awake at 1am and 5am at least. If you want to be near the airport for your last night or something that would be the only time I would say consider staying here but otherwise the amount we paid was about double what this place is worth! The staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to get a last minute transfer to the airport and they came to the Ferry port to pick us up (just don't expect any contact, I wrote it in our booking and didn't hear back from them but they were there to pick us up!). The room was quite clean (not perfect in the bathroom we discovered after showering, around the toilet wasn't very clean - the bathroom was a wet room so the water didn't just stay in the shower). Finally the transfers were very helpful, it's not often you get free transfers, but I think because of the hotels location it is very necessary as it's difficult to walk to from anywhere.

I do not spend even one more word for these failed I'm waiting for the refund again now they called to ask for the reimbursement coordinates, they want to be seen professionally but they can not I do not recommend it
