Manoulas Mykonos Beach Resort

This resort is awesome. I stayed here for 4 nights and each night was incredible. Immediately upon checking in, I was upgraded to a room facing the beach and pool. The staff was incredibly friendly. Eugene, one of the bartenders at the pool bar, was awesome and I enjoyed grabbing a beer and talking with him. The front desk was also very helpful in arranging transport or providing anything I needed while I stayed there. The pool is also one of the hotel highlights. The pool bar had a nice selection of small pool bites. The breakfast in the morning was also incredible. The hotel is pricey, but definitely worth every penny. The hotel was also clean. The hotel is located away from Mykonos town which was great if you want to avoid the hectic night life of Mykonos, but it was not too far so that you could not enjoy that night life if you wanted. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

I’ve stayed at Manoulas Beach Resort twice, once in a standard room and once in a suite. I went back a second time because I wanted to give the place a fair chance rather than judge it on a single visit, and unfortunately my impression didn’t change much. The genuine highlight here is the pool and the pool service. Both are excellent, and the team looking after that area are attentive, friendly and quick. If you’re planning to spend your days by the water, that part of the experience really does deliver. The rooms, however, don’t match the standard the hotel presents. There isn’t even a coffee machine in the rooms, just a basic kettle in the suites, which feels surprising for a property positioning itself at this level. The suite was better than the standard room, but not by as much as you’d expect. The welcome at reception was noticeably cold on both stays, which sets the wrong tone from the start. Breakfast also needs a serious rethink, both in choice and in quality. There’s a lot of potential here and the setting is lovely. With more attention to the rooms, the arrival experience and breakfast, this could easily be a very strong hotel. As it stands, three stars feels fair.

I strongly recommend this hotel. Very close to the beach, amazing pool, clean room and friendly staff!
